If this bill gets passed, then it would improve the safety of the students on the bus. 50% of people who are in accidents die from not wearing a seat belt. Main reason for my bill passing is to share that everyone safety. School buses don't have any protection from any major accidents. An example can an impact towards any income vehicle, which may cause casualties. Airbags are crucial for our safety and reduce pressure from any impact . If buses don’t have airbags, then having the option of seatbelts will factor out the survival rate.
Seat belts cause fewer accidents. Deaths often occur in car accidents, but in this case we’re mentioning buses. Front passengers' death rate are 45%. If it was curtailed, it may increase by 5%. Yet fate is willing to change amongst the wreckage; examples can be bridges, dozens of vehicles, bystanders, and bigger transportation. Bus numbers could be higher. Yet seat belts should be provided for everyone, which includes the handicapped, baby strollers, and the elderly. With seat belts provided, everyone has an increase on survival. However, the funding would need to take place.
If this bill gets passed, then it will help with the stress of worrying about kid's safety. 64% of parents believe that the school buses need advancements, and getting seatbelts for the school buses is a step toward improving their worries and the safety of their children. 15% of the parents want seat belts on school buses to be mandatory.
