Pass Bill HF3530! This bill ensures that regardless of pregnancy, emergencies, or adoptions, paid family leave is a right for every Minnesotan. It does so by removing administrative authority on premium benefits and fixing them federally, every Minnesotan is ensured to face equity. Additionally, the possible unexpectancy an administration can establish for premium rates is also erased. Allowing both employer and employee to plan their budgets accordingly. Employees are entitled to receiving the same rates they had prior to the leave, while also having access to working part time rate whilst being on leave. Passing this bill would also mean that regardless of business size, employees still have access to paid family leave. Through this bill all businesses are authorized to participate in paid family leave programs to get aid for their employees. This bill has notice requirements but also the flexibility to accommodate sudden emergencies. Passing this bill would steady up the infrastructure of family leave, and allow numerous Minnesotans to not lose a critical income in the face of emergencies.
