Some of the following pros to this are creating a women's sports fair again, because it’s biologically unfair if a girl (born a male) competed in women's sports. For example, a born male swimmer (Lia Thomas) competed in the NCAA women's championship and won it all by a fair amount. Lets think if Zion Williamson 6”6 284 male N.B.A star became a women and joined the W.N.B.A thats simply unfair for the rest of the league because the average W.N.B.A player is 6”0, 166 lbs, this is simply an unfair matchup and Zion would probably put up around 60-65 points a game. An average N.B.A player 6”6, 217 lbs. There is an obvious size difference and physical build between male and female athletes, which creates an unfair advantage for the born males now females. I think that it’s completely your choice if you want to become the opposite gender but it comes with a little bit of a deficit if you enjoy playing sports. I also feel as it is dangerous for females to compete with biological males.

Some of the cons to this are it can create inequality. This is because people can make their own decisions and if they identify as a gender we as others are supposed to respect it so that means we should let them play in women's sports. If they are a woman or identify as a woman they would want to be able to play in women's sports, I feel that these people should be treated fairly too, but I feel that this is the wrong way to fix that problem. Also mental health and identity we want these people to feel welcome, and not letting them participate is the opposite of that and welcoming them. I feel also this could hurt their mental health which could lead to bad life choices later in life. This also could lead to discluding them in other things other than just sports such as school, jobs or even different bathrooms.
