Essay
Support 1: I agree that to operate a tank truck with a capacity of less than 3500 gallons to transport petroleum products, they must have a valid commercial driver's license with endorsements for hazardous materials and must be at least 18 years old I think is fair you should java to have extra training for the hazardous materials.
Support 2: If you transport hazardous products in a 3500 gallon tank you must have a tank endorsement and to transport liquified petroleum gases in non-bulk or bulk packages or in a consumer tanks, must have a valid commercial drivers license with hazardous materials endorsement and must be 18 I agree with we all know 16 year olds can be a little dumb at times and operating a semi with hazardous materials at that age would be terrible idea
Against statement
In a way this is making it even harder for truckers or people wanting to become truckers get into the business and it also states that anyone over 26,000 pounds has to have a commercial drivers license which I dont think they should have to have one especially if there just driving a pickup truck with a gooseneck trailer plenty of farmers due this doesn't mean they need a cdl
Conclusion:
I agree with that anyone who is transporting hazardous materials in a liquid tanker, bulk tanker or non bulk tanker should be required to have a valid commercial drivers license with a hazardous material endorsement to transport these materials especially at a 3500 tank capacity.
