Food trucks can create a national brand with the ability to sell alcohol. Some food trucks travel all around the world and being able to sell alcohol could give them a step up from their competition. By creating a national brand, food trucks could expand to different parts of the country. Food trucks could then become more popular.
Food trucks can make more money with the ability to sell alcohol. Alcohol generally costs more than food. Depending on the alcohol chosen to serve, profits could skyrocket. Having a wide variety of alcohol means there would be something for almost everybody. Meaning more money for the food truck just on drinks, not including food.
Food trucks will attract more people with the sale of alcohol. Many people like a drink with their food. With a food truck with food and drinks, customers donĀ“t need to find two different trucks, they can just get everything in one place. Also, some customers might only want drinks and then customers would have more options.
Food trucks being able to sell alcohol would be difficult. To sell alcohol, the food truck would need a license. The only problem is food trucks travel and each state has a different license food trucks need. Food trucks would have to apply for a new license in every state which could take a while. Also, with traveling, food trucks having insurance is difficult. So if something were to happen in transit, the food truck would be liable and have little to no insurance offered.
