Training for active shooters can be traumatic. Students are supposed to be in places of safety but when they have to practice drills for active shooters it can put a mental strain on students. Instead of having children practice running for their lives we should instead be trying to better the community to prevent the issue at the root. Better family life will result in less active shooters occurring in the community. There is also the fact that using public money for private schools would open up new issues within government funding. Also the argument with government funding going towards private schools should go towards other private companies as well.
